Search for books about France and French language methods at amazon.co.uk - you may well SAVE MONEY!

Finding a job is an aspect that cannot be ignored if you wish to stay in France for anything more than a very short period – unless of course you are fortunate enough to have another source of income!

Nationals from countries within the EU may only stay in France for a period of 3 months without having a job – after that time unless you are married to a French national or can prove that you are in a position to support yourself, you will have to return to your own country.

However if you are from a country that belongs to the EU you are entitled to apply for jobs freely and for most positions on the same terms as French nationals.

You will need to check whether your qualifications are valid in France! To do this it is advisable to contact a professional body for your particular specialism.
